Happy Guests

Heather exploring Swanage Bay on her first sea swim

Heather came to me to help prepare her for her upcoming trip to Norway to swim with wild orcas. She had never been snorkelling in open water before. I was so proud to get this lovely feedback from her on my teaching page 🙏

Leon having fun with his Olympus TG6

Leon came to me with just his Olympus TG6 (no housing) to learn how to use it. After a morning session at the studio followed by a spot of Swanage Lunch, it was time to set out to practice under the pier. This is what Leon thought of the day. So chuffed I could help you Leon 🙏

Anna practicing lighting techniques at the studio

Anna visited me at my studio just before Christmas to prepare for a trip with her Olympus TG6 to the Red Sea. She had never used a strobe or changed any settings before, just using manual white balance. In just a few hours she had polished up her composition skills, learnt all the settings and started to use her INON Z330 strobe. Here are just some of the incredible images that she recently came back with.

More lovely feedback ….

“Maria gave a talk to Wareham Camera Club in May 2023. She is an extremely engaging speaker and had the whole room hanging onto her every word. She showed us some of her amazing underwater images taken around Dorset. She is a creative and very individual photographer who has an interesting story to tell. She has forged her own path and inspires her listeners to do the same.”

Jean Dixon, Chairman, Wareham Camera Club

“One thing I think you need to hear though is how much of an inspiration you are. Everything you have been through and everything you continue to do – Rachel and I are truly blown away by it all. You truly are a champion for our oceans.”

Pete Etheridge, Volunteer for Sea Shepherd
